About The Founder
Hello my name is Ximena aka “La Nena”. I’m originally from Colombia where I went to school for Marketing and Advertising but when I came to this country I decided to go again to school for my passion, Interior Design. Worked in Interior Design for a few years until the market crashed and I was at home not doing much but just planning my daughter’s parties. That’s when my passion for decorating was reinvented and a new business was born. Fast track 11 years later my clients have seen us grow from making cakes, desserts, and desserts tables at Xpressive Designs to a whole new business at Bambino Balloons.
Bambino Balloons was named after our little dog Bambino who kissed the wrong frog and crossed over the rainbow.
When I’m not planning a party you can find me spending time with my husband, my daughter, and our 3 dogs Bella who is Bambino’s twin, Chloe who is a rescue, and Archie who is a rambunctious Jack Russell Terrier and the new face of Bambino Balloons. We are very thankful for all the support of our local community and looking forward to meeting new faces and making them smile!
